Nutrition Services For EAP Companies

My associates and I offer bilingual nutrition counselling services to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Companies across Canada.

EAP companies promote workplace wellness with the goal of increasing productivity and reducing work absences. Employers know that better nutrition improves employee health and productivity.  Healthy eating and good nutrition reduces the risk of certain health conditions that lead to employee absences or high prescription drug use. Our team of Registered Dietitians are the best choice for employers looking to support employee wellness and prevent increasing costs related to employee health.  We are part of a regulated profession, and rigorously trained, both on the job and in universities. In our practice, we look beyond fads and gimmicks and provide ethical, evidence-based care to our clients.

Devon is a top-notch and dedicated Registered Dietitian who we’ve had the privilege to partner with for many years. Her client-first approach blends science and care, ensuring she consistently and empathetically meets her clients needs. She’s prompt and professional to work with, and applies best-fit, evidenced-based approaches with all her clients. She delivers high-end services across Canada and we’re proud to include her as a part of the Arete team.

Devon Guy
RD CDE MPH

A passion for health and wellness led me to pursue an education in nutritional sciences. I attained a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from McGill University and have worked as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator for the past 10 years.  I have completed a Masters in Public Health degree through the University of Alberta, specializing in Health Promotion Studies.

An interest in community health promotion led me to work with Indigenous communities in the area of diabetes education and prevention. I love to learn peoples stories and experiences and cultures as they relate to the way we eat. Food plays such an important role in bringing people together, sharing culture and relating to one another. I seek to help my clients achieve a peaceful and healthy relationship with food as they work towards their health goals.

I am born and raised in Calgary, Alberta but love to travel! I have lived overseas in Australia, Italy, Taiwan and South Korea.  Learning new languages, trying new foods and becoming immersed in a new culture are things I love about traveling.  In Calgary, I enjoy staying active, getting out to the mountains whenever I can for a hike or bike ride, and spending time with friends and family.

Registered to provide nutrition services in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskachewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and the Territories.
